Agreement

By using Shelfey (via SMS, Telegram, or our website at shelfey.ai), you agree to these terms. Shelfey is operated by Generation AI LLC (DBA It's Jen AI).

What Shelfey Does

Shelfey is an AI-powered book coaching service. You text us book titles or topics, and we deliver personalized coaching messages based on the themes and ideas from those books. Coaching is generated by AI and should not be considered professional advice.

Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use Shelfey. By using the service, you represent that you meet this requirement.

Accounts

Your account is identified by your phone number or Telegram ID. You are responsible for all activity associated with your number. Do not share your account with others.

Subscriptions and Payments

  • Free tier: 1 book, full coaching features.
  • Personal: $4.99/month, up to 3 books.
  • Pro: $14.99/month, up to 10 books.
  • Payments are processed by Stripe. Subscriptions renew monthly until cancelled.
  • Cancel anytime — your subscription remains active until the end of the billing period.
  • No refunds for partial months.

SMS Terms

  • By texting Shelfey, you consent to receive automated text messages related to your coaching.
  • Message frequency varies based on your preferences.
  • Message and data rates may apply.
  • Text STOP at any time to unsubscribe from SMS messages.
  • Text HELP for support information.
  • Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
  • SMS is available to U.S. phone numbers only at this time.

Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Use Shelfey for any unlawful purpose.
  • Send abusive, threatening, or harmful content.
  • Attempt to reverse-engineer or exploit the service.
  • Impersonate another person.

AI Disclaimer

Shelfey uses artificial intelligence to generate coaching messages. AI-generated content may not always be accurate or appropriate. Shelfey is not a substitute for professional therapy, counseling, financial advice, or medical advice. Use your own judgment when applying insights from Shelfey.

Intellectual Property

Shelfey and its content (excluding third-party book content) are the property of Generation AI LLC (DBA It's Jen AI). You retain ownership of the messages you send. By using the service, you grant us a license to store and process your messages to deliver coaching.

Limitation of Liability

Shelfey is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for any damages arising from your use of the service, including but not limited to decisions made based on AI-generated coaching.

Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access at any time for violations of these terms. You can stop using Shelfey at any time by texting STOP or ceasing to message us.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of Shelfey after changes constitutes acceptance.
